Our facilitating teams include licensed therapists and trained equine specialists who are experts in horse behavior. When appropriate, additional qualified specialists may join our team to help meet specific needs. Our team approach allows us to provide the highest quality services for our clients.
Karen Guile - CaronCEO & Founder, EAGALA Certified
Karen Graduated in 1980 with a degree in Physical Therapy, and attended Lyndon State College working towards her degree in Special Education with a minor in Psychology. Her desire to work with horses and at-risk youth lead Karen to become the first person to become EAGALA Certified in both the States of Vermont and New Hampshire. In 2009, Stable Connections made its home on land owned by Karen in Guildhall, Vermont.
Aaron GuileCo-Owner & Corporate Attorney
Since an early age, horses have been a part of Aaaron’s life. He began riding at the age of five and grew up with horses in the way other children grow up with cats and dogs. Aaron graduated from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2010 and is practicing law in San Diego, CA, although he always has an eye on Stable Connections to provide assistance and support in every way possible.
Andrea was born and raised in Lancaster, NH. She received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Nevada, LV. After spending 20 years in the west and the mid-west she has returned to the NEK. Andrea is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 18 years of experience in the Hospice Industry. After teaming up with a group of Veterans in an Equine Assisted Learning Program, her passion and reverence for the powerful relationship between horse and human was reborn. She is a Certified EAGALA Mental Health professional and specializes in trauma, grief, loss, and bereavement. She works with Veterans through group work and corporate team building.
Kerrin Kritchman, M.A. MHC, LCMHCPsychotherapist
Keri has always had a love for horses. She spent much of her youth showing horses. Keri was introduced to EAGALA a few years ago. It was then that she realized she could incorporate her personal passions with her professional life. She is a licensed clinical mental health counselor and has worked with children, adolescents and adults for the past 20 yrs.
Cassady is a senior at Groveton High School, with plans to attend college for pre-med. She has volunteered at Stable Connections since it first opened. Cassady’s senior project focuses on how horses benefit the community. She is a native of Guildhall, and has been riding horses since she was six years old. She enjoys teaching others how to ride.
Avi ChallinorStable Manager & Volunteer
A sophomore at White Mountain Regional, Avi has been a riding student at Stable Connections for five years and this year worked as our Junior Stable Manager. She is active in 4-H, softball, field hockey, basketball and competed in her first horse shows this summer. Her ambition is to become a large animal veterinarian and she is a valuable part of Stable Connections.
